A Home Away From Home

Your dog stays in my home as part of the household — not in a kennel. I keep numbers small, with a maximum of four guest dogs at a time, so every dog receives plenty of individual attention in a relaxed, comfortable environment. For dogs who love the water, there are also opportunities to swim and play in the lake.

Dogs live freely in my home and are treated as part of the family. At bedtime, dogs who are used to sleeping on the bed are welcome to sleep with me. Dogs who aren't allowed on the bed at home can sleep comfortably on their own bed beside me. I do my best to maintain the routines and rules they're accustomed to at home.

Pet sitting starts at $35 per night for easy-going dogs who can comfortably be left for 6–8 hours if necessary, although I am normally home. Puppies, senior dogs, and dogs requiring more frequent supervision or who cannot be left for more than 2–4 hours may be priced higher based on their individual needs.
